Q1. What is you mission in CNA and when did you start ?
In 2005 I have started my mission in CNA as responsible for promotion. The
activities are organised in working group 3 of CNA which is dedicated to
promote Calypso technology and our association.

Q2. How do you contribute to the promotion of Calypso?
The promotion work covers mainly two tasks. One is the participation to
events like conferences, seminars and exhibitions either by organising
booths or presentations and in many times doing both together. The other
task is the lobbying work at the level of authorties, transport company
either public or private and service providers of whatever typology. Here
it would like to highlight the fact that much of the promotion work is
dedicated to explain the relevance of customer relation management and
enterprise resource management. Both are closely linked to the
explanation of why going contactless. Behind this question manifold issues
like passenger information system, the organisation of a distribution
network and after sales services are hidden that need to be explained
before we come to the question why Calypso is a very well suited answer.
Transport companies in their role as transport mobility network providers
bring in considerable feedback for our members. This makes CNA a unique
centre of competence by sharing the experiences and transfering the
knowledge of many transport networks to new interested parties.
In addition to these target groups the relation to suppliers comes in.
Further the extension of Calypso technolgy and know how to additional
suppliers fits in with the intent to widen the distribution network of
Calypso technology.
Q3. What were the main success in 2009
In 2009 several mile stones have been achieved. With the new opportunities
the download over the air offers we have been able to load a Calypso
transport application onto Moroccan driving licenses. Further we have
increased the number of running schemes in Israel and we have landmarked
our acitivities in central Europe with the implementation in Riga. We have
been growing significantly in Italy where we have deployed the Ravenna
scheme where Calypso transport application is hosted on a card of Italian
Post bank.

Q4. What are the perspectives for 2010
In 2010 we are expecting new implementations in emerging markets inside
and outside of Europe. Traditional growth markets like Italy will see the
Emilia Romagna and Piemont region going live with their schemes. Of course
we will continue our promotion work at various events that will come up
this year.
