Orange France is designing the M-Stade service to allow visitors to Paris's Stade de France to simply point their mobile phone at NFC sensors when they enter the arena. The system is due to replace paper ticketing at the venue in 2011. The head of Oranges contactless services development, Bertrand Pladeau, told AFP 'We are starting from the principle that the first step will be to make the ticket virtual, the second step will be to add services'. The service will be tested during a Yannick Noah concert on 24 September.
