Slovenia has launched a new multi-functional contactless smartcard dedicated to improve the tourist services offered by Ljubljana. The visitors of the Slovenian capital city will be able to use this urban tourist card to pay for their leisures. This contactless card will also be used as a transit smart card and will allow tourists to enter the city's transit networks.

The city also provides a local card to its citizens who can pay for travel, library services and parking fees thanks to it. The main objective of the Slovenian authorities is to carrry out an interoperable system for all the country to simplify the in-house trips of its citizens and tourists
