This is the first issue of the CNA Letter. This letter is one of the visible signs of the strategy of communication of CNA, part of the global strategy for the next three years as defined by Philippe Vappereau in the interview hereafter. This letter will give quarterly a global vision of the worldwide development of Calypso, through different sights: actors of the market's testimonies, selection of significant news and events, evolution of key figures, technical and technological upgrades. It must be also the entry point to CNA forum for exchanges about subjects which justify constructive debate, like the relationship between banks and transport. You may help us to improve this letter in the reader's session by adding comments and proposals of articles. Please do not hesitate to forward this letter to your colleagues.
The CNA letter team wishes you a very good year 2009.
Philippe Vappereau new CNA’s Chairman answers our questions about the strategy of the association for the next three years. This strategy concerns In particular the communication and promotion of Calypso but also the development of services to be provided by CNA to all the members, partners and customers in order to favor the development of Calypso in the market.
Version 3 of Calypso is compatible with ISO 14443 A-B standards and javacard mechanisms and includes triple DES security, which will contribute to enhance the business model of ticketing systems thanks to the simultaneous perspective of reduction of costs and accession of new services.
